A prepaid plan is 12 months of Wyla as a code. You buy it, the family redeems it — no card on their account, nothing to cancel, nothing that renews.

Buy Wyla FamilyOne-time payment by card. Buying for more than one family? Set the quantity at checkout and you’ll get one code per family. Need an invoice or purchase order instead? Send us a note. Buying a code means agreeing to our Terms of Service; our Privacy Policy explains what we keep about purchasers.
Pay once, by card. Your code appears on the confirmation page and lands in your inbox right away.
Forward the email or read it out — it’s twelve letters and numbers. Each code works once and must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase, so keep it private until it’s used.
The parent creates a Wyla account and enters the code on the plan screen — or, with an existing account, under Settings → Plan. Their 12 months start the moment it’s redeemed. The account is theirs: buying the code doesn’t give you access to it.
Families often ask their homeschool charter, ESA program, or school to pay for Wyla with instructional funds. This page is the product page to put on the purchase request; the plan card above is the price. What is being bought is a 12-month prepaid plan for one family — a fixed term, not a subscription, and nothing renews or charges again. The family’s parent holds the account; the paying organization gets no access to it or to anything in it.
If your program pays vendors directly, send us a note with the program’s name and what it needs from us. Every program has its own vendor process, so we’ll look into whether we can accommodate yours — and if we can, we’ll get the paperwork done and issue the family’s code once payment arrives.
Yes, as long as their account doesn’t have an active plan at the moment they redeem it — a code can’t be stacked on top of a running subscription or another prepaid term. A family on a monthly plan can cancel it and redeem the code when the paid month ends; a family whose plan has lapsed can redeem right away under Settings → Plan.
When the code is redeemed, not when it’s bought — so a code bought in June for the school year loses nothing over the summer. Codes do need to be redeemed within 90 days of purchase; if one slips past that, send us a note and we’ll take a look.
No. The adult who redeems the code holds the account and is responsible for it, whoever paid. You won’t see the account, the children’s profiles, or anything in them, and we don’t share who paid with the family either. Each code works once, and anyone holding it can redeem it — so pass it on privately.
Nothing charges and nothing renews. The family sees that their plan has ended and can redeem another code or start a regular subscription whenever they like.
Solo covers one kid; Family covers up to four kids on one account, each with their own progress and creatures. Not sure? Family is the safe choice for any household with more than one child.
Like every Wyla purchase, prepaid codes are non-refundable, whether or not the code has been redeemed (see our Terms). There’s no free trial on a code, so if the family isn’t sure Wyla is a fit yet, they can start a subscription’s free trial themselves first and you can buy the code once they are. That said, if something has gone wrong — the wrong plan, a code bought twice — send us a note and we’ll take a look.
Our Terms of Service, as they apply to your purchase — in particular the “Prepaid plans” and “Refunds” parts of Section 5 — even if you never create an account. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep about purchasers: the email address you give at checkout, the amount, and the codes we issued.
Something else? Send us a note — we’d love to hear from you.
